Meet the pilot behind AeroTrack Flight
Hey there! I'm the pilot-developer behind AeroTrack Flight, and like many of you, I got into aviation because I love the freedom and precision that flying brings. But let's be honest – managing aircraft ownership and club operations? That's where things get messy fast.
As a private pilot with instrument rating, I've been flying for years and currently pilot a beautiful Beechcraft Debonair.
Through countless hours of flight planning, maintenance tracking, and cost-sharing headaches with fellow club members, I realized something: we're spending way too much time on paperwork and piecing together fragmented tools and not enough time in the air.
That's where my desire to solve challenges through software kicked in. In my full time job I work in healthcare IT supporting patient experience applications, but this project is personal.
Every feature in AeroTrack Flight comes from a real pain point I've experienced – from trying to coordinate aircraft schedules with club members to tracking maintenance due dates and splitting costs fairly among club members.
The aviation community deserves better tools. We're dealing with expensive assets, safety-critical maintenance, and complex regulations, yet most of us are still using spreadsheets, sticky notes and long text chains. AeroTrack Flight changes that by bringing modern software solutions to general aviation.
When I'm not coding or flying, I'm thinking about how this product can evolve to serve the challenges everyone faces in airplane ownership. Because at the end of the day, we all want the same thing: more time flying and less time dealing with the administrative hassles of aircraft ownership.
Let's get you back in the air and out of the paperwork.
